Wasn't it just Friday? I feel like I just did last week's Five for Friday yesterday. Another week passed by in a blink of an eye it feels like. It was a busy week. Thanks to Kacey from Doodlebugs Teaching for hosting this fabulous linky every week.

Here's our week in review.

Last weekend the USCG Barque Eagle was in port for 2 days. I took the kids down to tour it Saturday morning. They loved it! My 4 year old son was in heaven!

Saturday night my husband and I went out for a date night. We went and saw the new Avengers movie and then tried a newer restaurant on the island. We enjoyed these watermelon lemonades with our dinner. So delicious!

Tuesday I did a train theme for Story Hour. I was very proud of myself
for coming up with the idea for the art project all on my own. Usually I use pinterest to get ideas. We read
the book Freight Train. Then I had the kids make their own freight
trains using sponges and paint. They used their fingers to make the
wheels. Another mom found this cute idea for a train snack. Can you
guess the favorite part? Yup, the steam! A huge success! I'm planning
on blogging about it this weekend...I'm a little behind.

I've been reading a lot lately. This is my current read and it is soooo good so far. It was a free download on my kindle. It takes place during the time of the American Revolution. Abigail Adams and her husband John Quincy Adams are a couple of the main characters in this book as well as many other important historical figures from this time period. Check it out if historical fiction interests you at all.

I've got a new product in the works. It's for all my preschool and kindergarten teacher friends out there. Hoping to finish and post this weekend. Here's a sneak peek!
Well Suri and my husband are off today so we are headed to Atlantis to spend a day at the water park. It has been rainy rainy rainy the past 3 days. We are hoping the rain will hold off today so we can enjoy a day together. Fingers crossed!
Enjoy your weekend!
Ummmmm may I come on your next date? That lemonade looks delicious!!
